Job Description Job Title: Senior Cloud Engineer Job Description We seek a highly motivated Senior Cloud Engineer with a strong foundation in cloud technologies, platform infrastructure, and software development. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. 3–7 years of hands-on experience in software development and cloud engineering. Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Go, Python, or Node.js. Demonstrated expertise with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including services like EC2, Kubernetes, S3, and serverless technologies (e.g., AWS Lambda). Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi. Familiarity with cloud-native architectures, container orchestration, and microservices design. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills focused on optimizing system reliability and performance. A solid understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and automation best practices. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a mindset focused on learning and mentoring. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, cost-effective cloud platforms to meet evolving business needs. Write high-quality, maintainable code in Go, Python, Node.js, or other modern programming languages. Collaborate with engineering teams to implement cloud-native solutions using modern cloud technologies and services. Employ Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to manage, automate, and optimize cloud resource provisioning. Enhance existing cloud platforms by improving performance, reliability, and security while considering cost-efficiency. Develop and maintain automation pipelines, tools, and scripts to improve deployment workflows. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges in cloud environments while minimizing downtime.
