Responsibilities:

Create logical and physical data models using enterprise best practices and standards to ensure high quality and reduced redundancy.

Optimize and update conceptual and physical data models to support new and existing projects.

Be a subject matter expert for all data modeling activities.

Evaluate data models and physical databases for variance and discrepancies and validate business data objects for accuracy and completeness.

Qualifications:

5-10 years of experience as a Senior/Lead Data Modeler or Senior Data Solution Lead.

Experience in understanding and translating business needs into conceptual data model supporting long term initiatives.

Experience in understanding, analyzing and implementing relational, star, entity-relationship, multi-dimensional and object oriented database models.

Expert in Erwin Data Modeling tool

Good working knowledge of SQL

AWS/Redshift experience preferred

Excellent consulting and communication skills.

Ability to adapt and be effective in a fast paced changing environment.

Ability to adapt and work with both internal and external team members of various experience level.

A self-starter who takes ownership of the assignment workstream, ability to work independently.

Strong analytical skills with ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate information with the attention to detail and accuracy.
