Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Senior Cloud Operations Engineer with 8+ years of experience managing and optimizing AWS-based SaaS applications. This role ensures availability, scalability, security, and cost optimization while leveraging Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC). The ideal candidate will proactively monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance cloud operations in a 24/7 rotational shift environment . Key Responsibilities: Cloud Management: Design, deploy, and optimize AWS environments for performance and security. SaaS Support: Ensure application uptime and minimize disruptions. IaC & Automation: Implement Terraform and scripting ( Python, Bash, PowerShell ) for automation. Monitoring & Security: Utilize tools like CloudWatch, Datadog, ELK for proactive issue resolution. Cost Optimization: Analyze AWS usage and optimize resources. Collaboration & Leadership: Work with cross-functional teams, mentor junior engineers, and improve operational efficiency. Required Skills: Expertise in AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, Lambda, CloudFormation, etc.) Strong experience in Terraform, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS ECS/EKS) Hands-on with monitoring/logging tools and security best practices Troubleshooting SaaS application performance & reliability Willing to work in a 24/7 rotational shift environment Preferred: AWS Certifications (DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator) Experience with Ansible, Chef, or Disaster Recovery strategies
