Scope: Core responsibilities include focusing on innovation and improving delivery effectiveness by driving automation across the organization in software development, deployment, and infrastructure consistency. Provide standardized enterprise solutions for on-premise and cloud infrastructure and application deployment across multiple products. Apply the appropriate software engineering patterns to build robust and scalable systems. Expert in programming and apply your skills in developing the product. Influence fellow engineers by proposing software designs, providing feedback on software designs and/or implementation. Good problem-solving skills and can help the team in triaging operational issues. You leverage your expertise in eliminating repeat occurrences. Our current technical environment: Software/Tools: Python, GitHub, Jenkins, SQL PaaS, Python Django, Power BI Application Architecture : Scalable, Resilient, event driven, secure multi-tenant architecture Cloud Architecture : MS Azure (ARM templates, AKS, Virtue Networks, Event Hub, Azure AD) What you ll do: Develops quality software (including effective test code) according to clean code principles and Blue Yonder standards. Provides input for the prioritization of issues in the backlog and autonomously pulls issues or supports other team members as appropriate. Participates in team activities such as backlog grooming, planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Translates business requirements to user stories and actively seeks feedback by the stakeholders. Takes the lead in designs of individual stories and translates the design to subtasks. Considers aspects of information security while coding and reviewing others code. Keeps up to date with technology and research latest trends in the industry. Is perceived as the expert in a small area and is the go-to person for related implementational and operational issues. Design, architect, implement and document next generation system architecture and automation solutions. Evaluate and coach other engineers on the technical and interpersonal best-practices. What we are looking for: Bachelor s degree and minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in Software development Strong programming skills and background in Python, SQL Ability to debug and diagnose issues in complex enterprise applications Hands-On experience and Proficiency in below Technical skills Python SQL Bash/Shell/Perl Devops Linux/Unix Windows Platform Power BI Good to have GitHub, DevSecOps domain knowledge Basic understanding of virtualization, private, hybrid and public cloud computing concepts. Basic understanding in key areas such as Cloud Services such as IaaS, PaaS and SaaS on major cloud hosting platforms (Azure), Excellent team player and work with go-get attitude Should have good communication skill and effectively work with stakeholders and team as well Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
