As a Database Developer at Ameriprise India LLP, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing databases to streamline reporting processes. Your key responsibilities will include: - Designing and executing SQL Server Queries for effective data management. - Structuring SSIS Packages and modifying/running existing packages as needed. - Utilizing advanced Excel tools for efficient data analysis. - Ensuring data integrity and quality by performing regular checks. - Applying advanced analytical skills to optimize solutions and understand system limitations. - Developing and implementing report processes and programs. - Identifying appropriate technology solutions to meet business needs. - Documenting processes, data definitions, and sources, while assisting with testing. - Managing your own reports and activities. - Maintaining SOPs for all tasks and supporting back-up planning. To excel in this role, you must possess the following qualifications: - Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, VBA, and MS Access/SQL Server. - Exceptional logical, analytical, and abstract thinking skills. - Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects independently. - A Master's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Finance, or a related field. - Effective time management and communication skills to prioritize tasks effectively. Preferred qualifications for this position include experience in designing reports/dashboards in Power BI, proficiency in VBA for MS Access and Excel, familiarity with Sharepoint, and knowledge of QlikView.
