SQL Server Query Developer

Job Title: SQL Server Query DeveloperJob Description

We are seeking a SQL Server Query Developer with 1–2 years of experience in writing and optimizing SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of SQL Server architecture, indexing strategies, and performance tuning fundamentals. You will work closely with the development team to ensure efficient database operations and accurate data management.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL Server queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
• Troubleshoot and tune slow-performing queries.
• Assist in designing and maintaining database schemas, tables, views, and indexes.
• Collaborate with developers to integrate SQL queries into applications.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security.
• Build complex SQL-based reports as required by the business.
• Support routine database maintenance, backups, restores, and monitoring.
• Analyze requirements and create efficient database queries.
• Assist in troubleshooting and supporting production database issues.

Required Skills & Experience

• 1–2 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server (2016/2019/2022).
• Good knowledge of T-SQL, joins, subqueries, CTEs, and indexing.
• Understanding of relational database concepts and normalization.
• Basic experience with query optimization and performance tuning.
• Experience with stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views.
• Familiarity with SQL tools such as SSMS, SQL Profiler, or Performance Monitor.
• Knowledge of SSIS/ETL concepts (optional but a plus).
• Ability to work with large datasets and generate reports.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Salary

Starting Salary: ₹12,000 to ₹18,000 per month (based on experience and skill level)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
