Job Description

Job Summary:

SQL Server Developer

Key Responsibilities:

Design, write, and optimize
T-SQL queries
, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views.
Develop and maintain
SSIS packages
for ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data between systems.
Create and manage
SSRS reports
and dashboards for business intelligence and operational reporting.
Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements and optimize accordingly.
Collaborate with software developers, data analysts, and business stakeholders to define data requirements.
Perform database performance tuning, indexing strategies, and routine maintenance.
Participate in database schema design and contribute to application architecture.
Ensure database security, integrity, stability, and scalability.
Document database structures, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
Support data migration, integration, and version control efforts.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with
SSAS
(SQL Server Analysis Services).
Knowledge of cloud-based SQL (e.g.,
Azure SQL Database
,
Amazon RDS for SQL Server
).
Exposure to Power BI or other business intelligence tools.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Microsoft certifications (e.g.,
MCSA
,
MCSE: Data Management and Analytics
) are a plus.
