Key Role: Database Development: Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server databases. Create and modify database structures, objects, and schemas. Develop complex stored procedures, functions, and scripts. Optimize and tune database performance. Data Integration: Integrate data from various data sources and formats. Database Management: Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues. Implement backup and recovery procedures. Ensure data security and compliance with regulations. Manage database access and permissions. Reporting and Analytics: Develop reports using SSRS or other reporting tools. Collaborate with business analysts to understand reporting requirements. Implement data visualization and dashboard solutions. Collaboration: Work closely with software developers to design and optimize application databases. Provide technical support and guidance to team members. Documentation and Standards: Maintain documentation for database designs and reporting solutions. Ensure adherence to data management and governance standards. Develop and enforce database development best practices. Skills: Proficient in T-SQL and writing complex SQL queries. Knowledge of performance tuning and optimization techniques. Familiarity with database security practices. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
