Role Overview

SQL Developer

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain
SQL databases
and data models.
Write and optimize
complex SQL queries
,
stored procedures
,
functions
, and
triggers
.
Ensure data accuracy, performance, and integrity across multiple systems.
Collaborate with backend developers to integrate databases with applications.
Analyze and optimize slow-running queries for performance improvements.
Implement database security, backup, and recovery strategies.
Monitor and troubleshoot database-related issues in production and staging environments.
Work closely with analysts, developers, and project managers to deliver high-quality database solutions.

Requirements

2+ years of experience as an
SQL Developer
or
Database Engineer
.
Proficient in
MySQL
,
PostgreSQL
, or
Microsoft SQL Server
.
Strong understanding of
database design principles
,
normalization
, and
data modeling
.
Experience with
query optimization
,
indexing
, and
performance tuning
.
Familiarity with
stored procedures
,
views
, and
triggers
.
Hands-on experience with
data migration
,
ETL processes
, and
report generation
.
Knowledge of
version control tools
(Git) and collaboration in agile teams.
Good problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Nice-to-Have

Experience with
NoSQL databases
