Job Description

Job Summary:

SQL Developer

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain
SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, views, and functions
.
Manage and optimize
database structures
, indexing, performance tuning, and query efficiency.
Collaborate with application developers to integrate SQL logic with backend systems.
Maintain data integrity, security, and consistency across all database environments.
Perform
data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL)
operations as needed.
Analyze business requirements and convert them into optimized database solutions.
Debug and troubleshoot database issues, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
5 years
of hands-on experience working as an SQL Developer.
Proficiency with one or more major SQL databases:

MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MS SQL Server
, etc.

Strong skills in writing
complex SQL queries, joins, subqueries
, and analytical functions.
Experience building
stored procedures, triggers, functions, and database packages
.
Knowledge of
database design principles
, normalization, ER diagrams, and relational modeling.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with
ETL tools
(SSIS, Talend, Informatica, Pentaho, etc.).
Knowledge of
data warehousing concepts
(star schema, snowflake schema).
Familiarity with cloud databases (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, Google Cloud SQL).
Understanding of scripting languages (Python, Shell, PowerShell).
