Job Description: Highly skilled Senior SQL Database Developer to develop, manage and optimize our SQL databases. Candidates need to have database design, SQL querying skills, performance tuning, backup and recovery, and security management. This role requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities: Design stable and reliable databases and components, install, configure, and maintain SQL Server databases. Develop and optimize SQL components. Ensure performance, security, and availability of databases Strong proficiency with SQL Skilled at optimizing large complicated SQL statements Knowledge of best practices when dealing with relational databases Capable of configuring popular database engines and orchestrating clusters Monitor and optimize database performance, ensuring high availability and reliability. Implement and manage backup and recovery plans to safeguard data. Perform regular testing of backup and restore processes. Highly expertise in tuning SQL queries. Expertise in Utilizing tools for monitoring and troubleshooting database performance. (Like SolarWinds, Redgate, etc) Manage user access and permissions. Plan and execute database upgrades and migrations. Test and validate the integrity of data post-migration. Experience in automating Monitoring process, Archiving process. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of T-SQL, SSIS Database tools like SQL Profiler, SQL Server Agent, and Performance Monitor. Experience with any cloud-based SQL services (e.g., Azure/AWS) is an add on. Soft Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
