About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior SQL Developer to join our dynamic team at LoanDNA. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database schemas that support our core financial platforms. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of five years of hands-on experience in database development, with a strong focus on MS SQL Server and related technologies. Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A minimum of five years of practical experience in database development and SQL query optimization is essential. Candidates must demonstrate extensive proficiency with MS SQL Server, including writing and optimizing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects. A solid understanding of database schemas, normalization, and design principles is required. Experience with performance tuning, database security, and troubleshooting is highly desirable. Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers to support various business applications.
- Develop, implement, and optimize database schemas, tables, indexes, and other database objects to ensure high performance and data integrity.
- Collaborate with software developers, data analysts, and other stakeholders to create efficient, scalable, and secure database solutions aligned with project requirements.
- Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning of SQL code and database systems to enhance application performance and reliability.
- Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards by implementing appropriate access controls and audit mechanisms.
- Conduct regular database performance assessments and implement necessary optimizations to improve response times and system throughput.
- Create comprehensive documentation for database architecture, processes, and procedures to facilitate maintenance and future development.
- Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and adhere to best practices in database development.
