Role Description This is a remote volunteer role for a Spring Boot Java Developer. The Spring Boot Java Developer will be responsible for developing microservices-based applications, managing and scaling cloud-based applications, and ensuring the overall functionality and efficiency of our web platform. The Spring Boot Java Developer will work in a collaborative environment with a team of developers and contribute to the full software development lifecycle. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field Experience working with Spring Boot, Java 2+, and Hibernate Strong understanding of microservices architecture and cloud-based platforms, such as AWS or Azure Experience with front-end technologies like React/Redux Familiarity with databases, including SQL and NoSQL Ability to write clean and efficient code and work in a collaborative environment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Good verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment Experience working with Agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, is a plus Experience with test-driven development and continuous integration and deployment is a plus Show more Show less
