Job Description

Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech, language, voice, fluency, cognitive-communication, and swallowing abilities.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including exercises for articulation, comprehension, expression, reading, writing, and feeding/swallowing techniques.
Administer therapy sessions, monitor patient progress, and adjust plans as needed to ensure measurable improvements.
Educate patients, families, teachers, and caregivers on communication strategies, home exercises, and new treatment techniques.
Collaborate with physicians, psychologists, occupational therapists, educators, and other professionals to provide integrated care and make appropriate referrals.
Maintain accurate records, prepare reports on patient outcomes, and ensure compliance with state/federal regulations and professional standards (e.g., ASHA guidelines).
In educational settings, support students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and address how disorders impact academic and social performance
