Job Description

Job Title: Speech Therapist

Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Speech Therapist with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the LA - Learning Advancement Plan department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating individuals with communication disorders to help them improve their speech and language skills. This role requires a compassionate and patient individual who can work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to clients.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Conduct assessments to evaluate clients speech and language abilities.

- Develop individualized treatment plans to address clients communication disorders.

- Provide therapy sessions to improve clients speech, language, and swallowing abilities.

- Monitor clients progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors and psychologists, to provide holistic care to clients.

- Educate clients and their families on strategies to improve communication skills.

- Maintain accurate and up-to- documentation of clients progress and treatment plans.

Qualifications:

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.

- Valid RCI license.

- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the LA - Learning Advancement Plan department.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
