Speech Language Pathologist

Assessment & Diagnosis:

• Evaluate patients with speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.
  

• Use standardized tools and clinical observation to diagnose communication issues.
  

Therapy Planning & Implementation:

• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessments.
  

• Provide therapy for articulation, language development, stuttering, voice modulation, and swallowing disorders.
  

Early Intervention Support:

• Identify and support children with developmental delays in speech and language.
  

• Conduct parent training and early language stimulation programs.
  

Rehabilitation & Recovery:

• Provide therapy for individuals with speech loss due to stroke, brain injury, surgery, or neurological conditions.
  

• Support alternative and augmentative communication (AAC) when required.
  

Documentation & Progress Tracking:

• Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, progress notes, and goals achieved.
  

• Prepare reports for families, schools, and medical professionals.
  

Caregiver & Family Education:

• Guide families on exercises and strategies to use at home.
  

• Provide feedback on progress and recommendations for continued care.
  

Interdisciplinary Collaboration:

• Work with special educators, psychologists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and doctors.
  

• Participate in team meetings and IEP (Individualized Education Plan) reviews.
  

Community/School Outreach (if applicable):

• Conduct awareness sessions and screenings in schools or community centers.
  

Strong knowledge of speech and language development

Expertise in various therapy techniques (articulation, fluency, language, etc.)
