Role & responsibilities Purchasing:Source and procure fasteners (bolts, nuts, screws, washers, etc.) from reliable suppliers, ensuring optimal pricing, quality, and delivery schedules.Negotiate terms, pricing, and lead times with suppliers to achieve cost-effective purchasing and on-time delivery.Manage repeat daily transactions and re-order inventory to avoid shortages or overstock.Supplier Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.Resolve supplier discrepancies or quality issues in a timely manner.Maintain an up-to-date supplier database and records of communications.Logistics and Delivery:Collaborate with logistics teams to ensure on-time delivery and compliance with packaging and shipping requirements.Monitor transportation schedules and lead times.Collaboration:Work with vendors and international cross-functional teams on new product development.Maintain accurate records of orders, supplier communications, and inventory levels.Project Execution:Execute projects from US/Taiwan teams and resolve related issues.Negotiate contracts and manage supplier costs effectively.Industry Knowledge:Stay informed about industry trends, material standards, and supply chain developments to recommend improvements or cost-saving initiatives.Experience in the fasteners/metal/manufacturing industry is a plus.Preferred candidate profile Experience: 3-5 years in procurement and/or logistics.Education: Bachelors degree preferred.Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel; technical/engineering experience is a plus.Languages: Fluency in Chinese, French, or Spanish is a plus.Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and teamwork abilities.Global Experience: Experience working in international cross-functional teams is advantageous Why Join SBS?Be part of a fast-growing multinational company.Collaborate with global teams and vendors.Contribute to meaningful projects in a challenging and rewarding work environment.
