D. E. Shaw Renewable Investments (DESRI) develops, acquires, builds, owns, and operates solar and wind renewable energy generation facilities in the United States of America. DESRI currently owns, operates, or has an exclusivity agreement or signed purchase and sale agreement in place with more than 10 GW+ of solar and wind assets in the U.S. across 75+ projects. DESRI is run by a dynamic team and is headquartered in New York, with offices located in Denver and Hyderabad (India). We are looking for an intelligent and resourceful candidate to join our Human Capital team based in Hyderabad. The team plays a pivotal role in supporting the end-to-end employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, learning and development, performance management, workforce planning and career progression. In addition, this team manages engagement activities and initiatives that promote employee well-being and work-life balance and oversees critical HR operations in areas such as benefits and policies, compliance, separations, and statutory requirements.
WHAT YOU'LL DO DAY-TO-DAY:
In the role, you will be managing a diverse range of HR portfolios such as business partnering, employee engagement, learning and development, performance management, and administration of benefits and policies. You will need to stay abreast of the latest trends/best practices in employee engagement and employee benefits, HR programs, policies, etc. through industry benchmarking. You will also be involved in analyzing processes and coming up with ways to automate/enhance efficiencies in the HC Processes. You will have the opportunity to interact with business stakeholders and external vendors, evaluate event proposals, forecast expenses, and conduct cost-benefit analyses. You will act as a trusted advisor to employees, managers and leadership, fostering enduring relationships and a high-performance culture. You will also partner with managers to set development goals for employees aligned with business objectives. You will conduct training needs analyses to identify capability gaps and propose upskilling interventions. In this role, you will design and implement learning and development programs, including skill-building workshops, leadership development, and role-specific training. You will also manage day-to-day operational work pertaining to internal records for events, contracts, invoices, feedback, event trackers, budgets, etc. You will also need to prepare, track, and maintain appropriate documentation and trackers, conduct document audits, handle employee queries and requests, and coordinate with multiple stakeholders for related tasks.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
The ideal candidate should hold-Basic qualifications:
- A graduate degree in HR
- 2 to 4 years of experience as an HRBP or HR Generalist
- Excellent time-management skills and the ability to plan and execute projects with creativity and drive
- Proficiency in MS Office and excellent oral and written communication skills are required
- The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with various stakeholders, collaborate with employees at all levels, and work effectively in an agile, dynamic, and collaborative environment
- Attention to detail, creative thinking, and exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- The qualities of being ardent, motivated, self-reliant, flexible, and a quick learner, with a positive attitude and excellent interpersonal skills
- The ability to listen, deliver messages persuasively, and be comfortable with ambiguity and new challenges
Preferred qualifications:
- A master's degree in Human Resources
