Specialist, GL & ARCS Administrator

Job Description

The Role: This position reports to the Sr Analyst, Chart of Accounts and GL Close Administrator and is primarily responsible for Chart of Accounts maintenance process and month-end close activities in GL and subledgers. Responsibilities Responsible for Chart of Accounts maintenance process by reviewing requests and creating codes in the system of records as well as managed related controls and governance efforts Responsible for various month-end close related tasks in GL and subledgers Responsible for monthly close jobs scheduling and monitoring Responsible for maintenance of Cross Validation Rules, control reports, allocations and recurring journal setup Responsible for admin and functional tasks related to the account reconciliation tool (ARCS) Support Record-To-Report team as needed in other areas Take the lead role in trouble shooting issues with external interfaces as well as dealing with unprocessed transactions on a monthly basis Requirements: Education should include a college degree in Accounting or Computer Sciences (it will depend on the experience with managing the listed responsibilities) In depth knowledge of Oracle Cloud systems (Oracle Fusion and EDMCS) At least 2yrs experience on Oracle Cloud systems: Oracle Fusion ERP (GL, FA, PA, AR, AP) and Oracle EDMCS Strong working knowledge of computer applications including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) Basic technical accounting knowledge to analyze and resolve issues Ability to work independently Assume personal ownership & accountability for projects, goals and outcomes To challenge existing practices & test new ideas Position works with all levels within the corporation Good communication and presentation skills (verbal & written) and be able to articulate the problems and recommended solution to make design decisions with conviction Produce consistent, high-quality work and display strong personal integrity Willing to work in US hours
