Job Description

At JLL, the Assistant Manager-QA/QC plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of real estate projects across various sectors. This position involves supporting the development and implementation of quality assurance and quality control processes, conducting inspections, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction quality management, with excellent attention to detail and communication skills. Key Responsibilities: Assist in developing and implementing QA/QC policies, procedures, and standards. Support the QA/QC Manager in overseeing quality control activities across multiple projects. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards. Help prepare and maintain quality control documentation, including reports, checklists, and non-conformance records. Contribute to the development and delivery of QA/QC training programs for project teams. Assist in coordinating with internal teams, contractors, and clients to resolve quality-related issues. Support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality processes. Help monitor and analyze quality metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement. Contribute to risk assessment and mitigation strategies related to quality management. Assist in ensuring compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards. Participate in project meetings and client interactions as required. Support the mentoring of junior QA/QC team members. Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.3-5 years of experience in quality assurance/quality control in construction or real estate development. Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and industry standards. Familiarity with quality management systems and ISO standards. Proficiency in MS Office suite and project management software. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Desired Skills: Professional certifications in quality management (e.g., CQA, CQE). Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) for quality control. Knowledge of lean construction principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
