Specialist Analytics Analyst

As a Spec Analytics Analyst at Citigroup, your role involves monitoring, assessing, analyzing, and evaluating processes and data within your specialty area. You will be responsible for identifying policy gaps, formulating policies, interpreting data, making recommendations, and researching factual information. Additionally, you will need to identify inconsistencies in data, define business issues, and formulate recommendations on policies, procedures, or practices. Your impact will be limited but direct on the business through the quality of tasks/services provided, restricted to your own team. Key Responsibilities: - Work with large and complex data sets to evaluate, recommend, and support the implementation of business strategies - Identify and compile data sets using tools like SQL and Access to predict, improve, and measure the success of key business outcomes - Document data requirements, data collection/processing/cleaning, and exploratory data analysis, possibly utilizing statistical models/algorithms and data visualization techniques - Specialize in marketing, risk, digital, and AML fields - Assess risk appropriately when making business decisions, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, and reporting control issues transparently Qualifications: - 3-5 years of relevant experience - Ability to retrieve and manipulate data - Analytic ability and problem-solving skills - Working experience in a quantitative field - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, detail-oriented, organized, and adaptive to a matrix work environment - Ability to build partnerships with cross-functional teams Education: - Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience Please note that this job description provides a high-level overview of the work performed, and other job-related duties may be assigned as required.,
