Position Overview: As a growing interior design start-up, We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Interior Designer with 2–4 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling end-to-end residential design projects while also playing a key role in client engagement and sales conversions . This role requires a balance of creative design expertise and business acumen, ensuring both exceptional client satisfaction and successful project delivery. This role will be crucial in driving business growth by delivering exceptional designs, building client relationships, and promoting our design services. Role: Interior Designer Location: Delhi-NCR (Mode of work: In Office/Hybrid) About the Job: Design & Project Execution Understand client requirements, lifestyle, and design preferences to deliver tailored residential design solutions. Create mood boards, space layouts, 3D visualizations, and detailed drawings for client approvals. Take accurate site measurements and translate them into detailed working drawings. Select and specify materials, finishes, furniture, and décor aligned with the design concept. Prepare detailed BOQs (Bill of Quantities) , cost estimates , and budgets with precision. Stay updated on market trends, material availability, and price fluctuations to provide accurate project costing. Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and suppliers for smooth and timely project execution. Conduct site visits to monitor progress, ensure quality standards, and resolve on-site challenges. Client Engagement & Sales Meet and interact with potential clients to understand requirements and present design proposals. Deliver compelling presentations and design pitches to convert inquiries into confirmed projects. Collaborate with the business team to achieve sales and revenue targets. Manage client relationships throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business. Team & Process Contribution Work closely with senior designers and management to enhance design and project delivery processes. Maintain accurate documentation of drawings, approvals, BOQs, estimates, and progress reports. Support sales & marketing with design insights, project imagery, and portfolio development. Uphold brand standards, company values, and ethical practices in all interactions. What you must get to the table: Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field. 2–4 years of experience in residential interior design projects. Strong expertise in BOQ preparation, cost estimation, and site measurement accuracy . Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max/Revit, V-Ray/Corona, Photoshop, or similar tools. Excellent communication, presentation, and client-handling skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work within deadlines. Strong commercial awareness with a flair for sales and business development. Knowledge of modular furniture systems, finishes, and material sourcing. Strong vendor coordination and negotiation skills. Awareness of market pricing, new products, and material trends . A client-first mindset with problem-solving ability.
