Position: Spa Manager Location: Samayaa World Spa, 5-Star Hotel, South Goa Job Type: Full-Time Job Summary: The Spa Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Samayaa World Spa, ensuring the spa delivers an exceptional, personalized, and luxurious experience for all guests. This role involves managing spa staff, ensuring the highest standards of service, overseeing spa treatments and facilities, and driving overall guest satisfaction. The Spa Manager will also play a key role in promoting spa services, ensuring profitability, and maintaining a serene and inviting atmosphere. Key Responsibilities: Operational Management: Supervise daily operations of Samayaa World Spa to ensure smooth, efficient, and high-quality service delivery. Ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and organization of the spa, treatment rooms, and public areas. Oversee the scheduling of spa staff to ensure appropriate coverage and optimal guest experience. Manage inventory of spa products and equipment; ensure stock levels are adequate and orders are placed timely. Staff Management: Lead, motivate, and train the spa team, including therapists, receptionists, and housekeeping staff, to deliver high standards of service. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback for improvement. Organize training sessions and workshops to enhance skill sets and maintain a high standard of service. Guest Service Excellence: Ensure exceptional guest service by maintaining high standards in treatment delivery, customer care, and overall experience. Address and resolve guest complaints or concerns promptly and effectively. Ensure spa treatments are tailored to the individual needs of each guest, with personalized recommendations where necessary. Sales and Revenue Management: Develop and implement strategies to increase spa revenue, including promoting spa services, retail products, and seasonal packages. Monitor spa sales targets and ensure the team achieves them. Create promotional offers, packages, and loyalty programs to attract new and returning guests. Analyze spa performance reports, including treatment revenue, retail sales, and guest feedback, to identify areas of improvement. Quality Control & Compliance: Ensure all treatments are performed with the highest level of care, hygiene, and professionalism. Maintain and uphold industry standards and certifications for spa practices, including safety regulations and hygiene standards. Ensure the spa complies with all local laws and regulations, including health and safety requirements. Budget and Financial Management: Develop and manage the spa’s budget, including controlling costs and maximizing profitability. Monitor expenses, staffing levels, and resource allocation to ensure financial targets are met. Prepare regular financial reports and provide recommendations to the management team on performance. Marketing & Guest Retention: Collaborate with the hotel's marketing team to create and implement marketing strategies to promote the spa. Monitor guest feedback and use it to improve services, creating a personalized spa experience. Work with the hotel team to create packages or promotions that drive business to the spa. Required Skills & Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in spa management, preferably in a 5-star hotel or luxury resort setting. Education: Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Spa Management, or a related field. Leadership: Proven experience in managing and leading a team, with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Customer Service: Strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service with attention to detail. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Spa Knowledge: Deep understanding of spa treatments, wellness therapies, and trends in the spa and wellness industry. Financial Acumen: Ability to manage budgets, control costs, and drive revenue growth. Languages: Proficiency in English is required. Knowledge of additional languages is a plus. Desirable Attributes: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards. A passion for wellness and a commitment to providing a luxury experience for guests. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage difficult situations with professionalism. Working Conditions: Full-time position with fixed hours, including weekends and holidays.
