COMPANY:- YACHT LIFE GOA POSITION:- SOUS CHEF JOB LOCATION: PANAJI A Sous Chef, often called the "second in command" in the kitchen, plays a vital role in the smooth and efficient operation of a restaurant's culinary team. Key Responsibilities: Assist the Head Chef in planning and directing food preparation and kitchen operations. Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff. Ensure food is prepared to high standards of quality, presentation, and hygiene. Monitor stock levels and help manage inventory and ordering. Train new staff and enforce kitchen standards and safety protocols. Step in to lead the kitchen during the Head Chef’s absence. Assist with menu development and specials based on seasonal availability. Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations. Requirements: 3+ years of kitchen experience; prior Sous Chef or lead cook role preferred at 5 star hotel Culinary degree or diploma preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Knowledge of food handling, preparation techniques, and kitchen safety. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in [Italian, Asian fusion, fine dining, etc.] Food safety certification Experience with menu costing and kitchen budgeting Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month Benefits: Food provided Schedule: Rotational shift Work Location: In person
