About the Role

M Grill is seeking a skilled and creative Sous Chef specialized in Chinese cuisine to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in authentic Chinese cooking and the ability to support the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Head Chef in planning and preparing authentic Chinese dishes.
  • Ensure consistency, taste, and presentation of all menu items.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff for Chinese cuisine section.
  • Maintain hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards in the kitchen.
  • Monitor food inventory; assist in ordering and cost control.
  • Innovate and contribute to new dish development.
  • Ensure smooth kitchen operation during service hours.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a CDP or Sous Chef in Chinese cuisine.
  • Strong knowledge of Cantonese, Sichuan, and Indo-Chinese dishes.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.
  • Leadership, communication, and multitasking skills.
  • Food safety certification is a plus.

About the Role

M Grill is looking for a talented Sous Chef specializing in Arabic cuisine who can deliver authentic Middle Eastern flavors while supporting kitchen operations and maintaining high culinary standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, cook, and oversee Arabic dishes (Lebanese, Gulf, and Mediterranean styles).
  • Assist Head Chef in menu planning and recipe development.
  • Maintain food quality, taste, and presentation.
  • Supervise Arabic cuisine staff and ensure smooth workflow.
  • Maintain kitchen hygiene and adhere to food safety standards.
  • Monitor stock levels, reduce waste, and support cost control efforts.
  • Ensure timely preparation and delivery during busy service hours.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in Arabic/Middle Eastern cuisine as CDP or Sous Chef.
  • Strong knowledge of grills, mezze, rice dishes, kebabs, and traditional Arabic flavors.
  • Good leadership and team-management abilities.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure kitchen environments.
  • Food safety/hygiene certification preferred.
