Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Sous Chef to join our team at Lemon Tree Hotel in Aurangabad. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience and expertise in both Indian and Tandoor cuisine.


Roles and Responsibility
  • Assist the Head Chef in planning and preparing menus for special events and functions.
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu ideas to enhance culinary offerings.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation.
  • Conduct regular quality checks on food products and ingredients.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.

Job Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a reputable hotel or restaurant.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian and Tandoor cuisine, including cooking techniques and ingredients.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage kitchen staff.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment and appliances, including ovens, refrigerators, and dish washing machines.
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring consistency and accuracy in food preparation and presentation.
