Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Vivanta Kochi, Aluva. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in hotels and restaurants.


Roles and Responsibility
  • Assist the Head Chef in planning and preparing menus for special events and functions.
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu ideas to enhance culinary offerings.
  • Conduct kitchen demonstrations and cooking classes for staff and guests.
  • Ensure high-quality food production and presentation meet company standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Job Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a hotel or restaurant setting.
  • Strong knowledge of Continental cuisine and its preparation methods.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage staff.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment and appliances, including ovens, refrigerators, and dish washing machines.
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring high-quality food production and presentation.
