Job Description - Sous Chef About the Role: CAARA is seeking a passionate and experienced Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team in Delhi NCR. This leadership role is key to delivering exceptional food quality and kitchen operations. As a Sous Chef, you will support the Executive Chef in leading the kitchen team, driving innovation in menu planning, and ensuring operational excellence. Key Responsibilities:1. Strategic Planning & Menu Development Lead creative menu planning based on culinary trends and customer feedback Support the Executive Chef in designing and executing kitchen strategies Assist in budget planning and cost control to ensure profitability 2. Team Leadership & Staff Development Supervise and motivate the kitchen team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment Train and mentor junior chefs and kitchen staff, ensuring continuous skill development Conduct regular performance reviews and provide actionable feedback 3. Quality & Compliance Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency Implement regular quality checks and respond to customer feedback Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations 4. Operational Excellence Optimize kitchen workflow to maintain efficiency during service hours Manage inventory, ordering, and resource planning to reduce waste and ensure readiness Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues quickly to maintain smooth kitchen operations What We're Looking For: Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a fast-paced kitchen Strong leadership, mentoring, and organizational skills Deep understanding of food safety standards and kitchen operations Creativity in menu development and a passion for high-quality food Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month Benefits: Flexible schedule Food provided Health insurance Leave encashment Provident Fund Schedule: Evening shift Morning shift Rotational shift Weekend availability Supplemental Pay: Yearly bonus Work Location: In person
