Introduction
As a Sourcing Support Professional, you will be directly engaging with the IBM & Client Sourcing Team under the CPO organization of a Global Healthcare Life science client based out of North America. This role will be aligned cross category across Direct, Indirect, Enterprise, and R&D and involves transactional and administrative support across sourcing towers. You will be responsible for executing low-complexity tasks such as tactical buying, supplier negotiation support, reporting, contract management and sourcing execution. This role requires 46 years of experience in procurement operations.
Your Role And Responsibilities
- Recognize non-catalog purchases
- Work with requester/client for clarifications
- Determine source from master file
- Negotiate cost savings and terms

- Coach team members (Buyers, Agents)

Policies, Procedures and Program Management

Category Management and Sourcing Execution
- Participate in annual planning cycles and gather input from stakeholders
- Collect and cleanse spend data to identify consolidation and cost reduction opportunities
- Support category strategy development and documentation
- Assist in strategic sourcing plan updates and execution
- Finalize business requirements, scope, and budgets with stakeholders
- Analyze market trends and supplier capabilities
- Align sourcing strategy with category strategy and business rules
Sourcing Execution
- Lead low-complexity RFx events
- Support medium/high complexity RFx execution
- Create RFx documents and manage bid processes
- Evaluate supplier proposals and recommend preferred suppliers
- Prepare contracts and award letters
- Coordinate routing of agreements for signature
- Support NDA/CDA creation and negotiation
- Refer non-standard terms to legal and support resolution
Contract and Compliance Administration
- Enter contracts into management tools
- Support implementation and communication of new contracts
- Assist in change management and stakeholder impact analysis
Category Buying Desk
- Execute tactical buys and sourcing events
- Provide supplier lists and specification feedback
- Maintain savings tracking and reporting
Cost Modelling and Supplier Performance
- Create should-cost models
- Prepare supplier scorecards and financial health data
- Support supplier onboarding and performance tracking
Other Middle Office Activities
- Collect market intelligence and ESG data
- Support dashboards and reporting tools (SAP, Power BI, Sievo)
- Assist in master data updates and vendor records
Escalation and Request Management
- Resolve P2P escalations and refer unresolved issues
- Manage non-automated client requests via Intake Workflow System
- Execute stakeholder requests not requiring S2P Lead support
Work the shift hours to support North America time zone (6:30 pm IST to 3:30 am IST/7.30 pm to 4.30 am IST)
