Job Description

Job Title: Sourcing Specialist Department: Procurement/Supply Chain Reports To: Procurement Manager Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. 4-5 years of experience in procurement from a manufacturing industry background, preferably from a medical industry background Knowledge of procurement principles and docume3ntation processes. Understanding inventory management and procurement workflows. Job Summary: Primary responsibilities revolve around the gambit of Procurement and primarily around below activities · Purchase administration function · PO processing · Supplier coordination · Material follow up for on time delivery and update ERP systems with expected delivery dates · Ensure the accuracy of all entries in the ERP system · Material movement · Invoice/Qty/reject/rework resolutions working with the suppliers. · Manage all the data inputs to in the ERP systems, verifying information against source documents. · Maintain and update the vendor database, ensuring all records are complete and accurate in OODO and AVL update · Coordinate with vendors for all the required documents, invoices, inspection reports, test certificates, MSDS, COC’s etc. · Ensure to follow the laid-out processes/policies and protocols and compliant with the quality management systems and strictly adherence to the same. · Maintaining an healthy relationship and active collaboration with internal and external stakeholders and work ethics Reporting and Analysis: Generate regular reports on procurement activities, including open POs, supplier ratings, and spending summaries using Odoo. Identify data inconsistencies in ERP system and work to rectify them with the relevant teams Key Competencies: Strong organizational and documentation skills. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and familiarity with procurement software (e.g., SAP, OODO, or other ERP systems). Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Good communication and coordination skills for working with internal teams and external vendors. Work Environment: This role calls for an extensive field work and active collaboration with all relevant stakeholders.
