Job Description

As a Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for leading Procurement teams and overseeing the strategic sourcing and procurement processes at a global, regional, or country level. Your role will involve directing and supervising Procurement Professionals, developing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and optimizing procurement operations to ensure cost, cash, quality, and service optimization. You will drive added value through strategic sourcing, engineering value, delivery of innovation, and risk management. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulations and drive cost savings will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Guide and oversee Procurement Teams, ensuring effective sourcing, negotiation, and vendor management, including personnel supervision, HR, career development, performance assessment, and IT - Build, reinforce, and distribute sourcing strategies to align with internal key functions - Lead key contract negotiations, complete cost analyses, and negotiate terms and conditions - Drive savings initiatives while maintaining quality standards - Proactively manage supplier relationships - Act as a strategic Business Partner and enabler - Build and maintain strong relationships with other Group Stakeholders - Monitor and report on KPIs related to your scope - Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends - Analyze market trends and apply knowledge to make insightful buying decisions - Seek continuous improvements in procurement processes - Provide support and mentorship to junior procurement teams - Ensure procurement activities comply with laws and regulations Qualifications Required: - Proven experience in leading procurement teams and overseeing strategic sourcing processes - Strong negotiation skills and ability to drive savings initiatives while maintaining quality standards - Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams - In-depth knowledge of procurement best practices, market trends, and emerging technologies - Ability to analyze data and make informed buying decisions - Familiarity with end-to-end Supply Chain within the Category scope - Experience in developing and maintaining supplier relationships - Knowledge of procurement policies and compliance processes - Strong leadership abilities to guide and mentor procurement teams - Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders - Proficiency in contract management and procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals Note: The job description provided focuses on the role of a Procurement Manager overseeing strategic sourcing and procurement processes.,
