Sourcing Engineer-Precision Manufacturing

Role Overview: As a Sourcing Engineer Precision, your primary responsibility will be to identify capable vendors for specific projects, thoroughly understand RFQs, and determine the necessary capabilities. You will be tasked with finding economically feasible supply chain solutions that encompass raw materials, manufacturing, finishing, and logistics. Key Responsibilities: - Identify and evaluate potential vendors capable of meeting project requirements. - Understand and manage Requests for Quotations (RFQs) to ensure alignment with project specifications and capabilities. - Determine the most economically feasible supply chain, covering raw material procurement, manufacturing, finishing processes, and logistics. - Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery. Qualifications and Skills: - Education: B.Tech/BE in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial and Production Engineering, or a related field. - Experience: 7+ years of proven experience in the manufacturing field. - Skills: - Excellent communication and organizational skills. - Strong multi-tasking abilities. - Proficiency in planning, management, and leadership. - Ability to define and implement effective processes and strategies. - Proficiency in office software. - Language proficiency in Hindi and English (preferred).
