Sourcing Coordinator

As a Sourcing Coordinator at Xometry, you will play a crucial role in establishing sourcing solutions for complex orders, making you an integral part of our Sourcing Team. Your responsibilities will include: - Initial triage of orders to uncover manufacturing and quoting issues such as tolerances, design limitations, and material availability. - Identifying alternative sourcing strategies to ensure timely order fulfillment. - Cultivating network relationships and proactively communicating capacity gaps and constraints across the network. - Working cross-functionally to devise recovery strategies for assigned orders. - Being accountable for meeting key performance indicators related to margin and time to resolution. To excel in this role, you must possess the following skills: - Detail-oriented problem solver who can thrive in ambiguous situations with minimal direction. - Strong verbal and written communication skills in English at a C1 level. - A strong desire to learn and grow within the company and the position. - Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously. - Proficiency in computer skills, including Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides, as well as basic Internet navigation. - Basic knowledge of Solidworks, Salesforce, Looker, and Mechanical Print interpretation is a plus. Qualifications required for this position: - Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Commerce, or a related field is preferred. - 2+ years of client-facing and vendor-facing experience, preferably in the manufacturing space. - Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and customers.
