Solutions Marketing - SM - Steel

Ohmium is headquartered in the San Francisco Bay Area, with manufacturing facilities in Bangalore and Chennai India. JOB OVERVIEW
One of the most important green hydrogen applications is in the Steel industry. As a key member of product management team, the Solutions Marketing Lead - Steel will prepare technical solutions in the various sales deals, to realize the full value potentials of Ohmium product suite. The ideal candidate will have a good techno-commercial background in the steel industry, collaborate with cross functional stakeholders and be passionate about the monumental journey of energy transition.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Technical Solution Development:
Lead the development of technical solutions for business opportunities in the Steel industry, ensuring alignment with Ohmiums product capabilities and customer needs.Sales Support:
Support the technology evaluation phase of the sales process for Steel industry opportunities, providing expert guidance and insights to drive successful outcomes.Value Proposition Development:
Collaborate with the Product Marketing Team to identify and articulate unique value propositions of Ohmium products for green hydrogen applications in the Steel industry, highlighting competitive advantages.Marketing and Sales Support:
Provide technical inputs for marketing materials and presentations related to green hydrogen applications in the Steel industry, ensuring accuracy and relevance.Techno-Commercial Expertise:
Offer industry-specific techno-commercial expertise to the R&D team, contributing to product market fit assessments and product roadmap development.Industry Engagement:
Participate in and present at green energy discussions with Steel industry clients and at industry events, representing Ohmium and sharing insights on industry trends and product innovations.

FORMAL EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS OR EQUIVALENT
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business field required
- Combination of experience, education, certification, or work history providing an equivalent technical expertise
WORK EXPERIENCE
- Five plus (5+) years of experience with a leading steel company with a good understanding of steel players globally
- Solid techno-commercial understanding of the steel production process, technical requirements and corresponding challenges and opportunities
- Collaboration experience with the marketing or R&D teams preferred
- Experience with green hydrogen preferred
