Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Engineer with 7 to 12 years of professional experience to join our team as a Solution Engineer in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and excellent problem-solving skills.

Roles and Responsibility

Develop fluid subsystem designs, including gas/liquid fuel, lube oil, hydraulic, water injection, coolers, air systems, and more.
Create structural package/skids, such as base plate, sub-skids, and other related components.
Collaborate with experienced engineers and suppliers to design fluid accessory components like pumps, valves, heat exchangers, instrumentation, etc.
Review customer and fleet data to support redesign efforts that improve customer reliability and performance.
Deliver engineering drawings, including P&ID, General Arrangement Drawings, Assembly Drawings, redline markup, work instructions, or work packs.
Perform engineering calculations, such as pressure drop calculations, valve selections, pump/motor sizing, pressure vessel selection, stress analysis, etc.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 7 years of professional experience designing mechanical systems.
Preferred experience in the oil & gas industry.
Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, codes, and standards.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Must be available to travel 8-10% (domestic and international).
Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
