Solution Designer

The Component Designer will be responsible for the end to end design and development of mechanical and or electrical components ensuring alignment with project specifications functional requirements and manufacturability standards This role requires a high level of technical proficiency attention to detail and collaboration with cross functional teams to deliver innovative and cost effective design solutions
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and refine component designs from concept to production ensuring compliance with performance safety and quality standardsCreate detailed 2D and 3D design models using industry standard CAD software e g SolidWorks CATIA NX or CreoConduct component level analyses including structural thermal or electrical validation to ensure reliability and durabilityCollaborate with manufacturing quality and procurement teams to ensure design feasibility cost efficiency and ease of productionSupport prototype fabrication testing and validation activities implement design improvements based on test outcomesMaintain accurate and up to date design documentation drawings and change records in accordance with company standards and PLM systemsParticipate in design reviews contributing technical insights and ensuring adherence to project timelines and objectivesEnsure all designs meet applicable regulatory industry and company standardsTechnical SkillsProficiency in CAD tools SolidWorks CATIA NX Creo or equivalentStrong understanding of materials manufacturing processes GD T and tolerance analysisExperience with DFMEA DFM DFA and other design best practicesFamiliarity with PLM systems such as Teamcenter Windchill or equivalentWorking knowledge of simulation tools e g ANSYS Abaqus is an advantage
