Solar PV Technician / Installer

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Solar Technician to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting solar PV systems for residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate should have experience in electrical work, be comfortable working at heights, and be able to work independently or with a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Install solar PV panels on rooftops, ground mounts, and other structures
• Perform electrical wiring, conduit installation, and cable management
• Conduct site assessments and assist in system design preparation
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair solar PV system issues
• Perform routine maintenance and testing of solar equipment
• Follow safety procedures, including use of PPE and fall protection
• Work with project managers and electricians to complete installations
• Ensure systems are installed according to industry standards and local codes
• Document installation processes and prepare service reports

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Solar Technician / Installer (preferred)
• Basic understanding of solar PV system components (inverters, mounting structures, wiring)
• Basic electrical knowledge (certifications are a plus)
• Ability to work at heights and in outdoor environments
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment
• Good physical fitness and ability to lift heavy equipment
• Valid driver’s license (preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

• ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or related field

Work Schedule

• Monday to Saturday (adjust as required)
• Overtime or weekend work may be required based on project deadlines
