As a Solar Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing and executing solar energy projects from start to finish. Your responsibilities will include: - **Project Planning:** You will be tasked with developing and overseeing project plans, schedules, and budgets for various solar energy projects. - **Design and Development:** Leading the design and development of solar energy systems, which involves creating PV layouts, electrical designs, and structural engineering solutions. - **Permitting and Compliance:** Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, and obtaining the necessary permits for solar energy projects. - **Procurement and Supply Chain Management:** Managing procurement and supply chain activities, such as sourcing and purchasing equipment and materials required for the projects. - **Construction Management:** Overseeing all construction activities, including site preparation, installation, and commissioning of solar energy systems. - **Testing and Commissioning:** Making sure that all solar energy systems undergo thorough testing and commissioning to meet quality and performance standards. - **Quality Assurance:** Implementing quality assurance processes to ensure that all solar energy projects adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements. - **Communication:** Keeping stakeholders informed by effectively communicating project status, progress, and any issues that may arise. To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications: - **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil) or a related field. - **Experience:** Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in solar energy project development, engineering, and construction. - **Skills:** - Strong knowledge of solar energy systems, including PV design, electrical engineering, and structural engineering. - Excellent project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting. - Outstanding communication, leadership, and team management abilities. This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits including cell phone reimbursement, internet reimbursement, paid time off, and performance bonuses. The work schedule is during the day with weekend availability. Preferred language for communication is English, and the work location is in person.
