Solar Project Engineer

About the Role:

KCP Eco Energy is looking for an experienced Solar Project Engineer to handle end-to-end execution, supervision, and management of solar projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely project delivery, technical accuracy, safety compliance, and quality control at the site.

This role demands a mix of technical expertise, project coordination, and leadership skills to successfully complete solar EPC projects — from design to commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and execute solar power plant installation projects (both rooftop & ground mount).
• Coordinate with design, procurement, civil, and electrical teams for smooth execution.
• Prepare project schedules, material requirements, and daily progress reports.
• Supervise site engineers, technicians, and contractors during project implementation.
• Ensure quality control, safety compliance, and adherence to project timelines.
• Review and verify drawings, SLDs, and technical documentation.
• Conduct site visits, monitor project progress, and resolve technical issues on-site.
• Handle testing, commissioning, and handover of completed projects.
• Liaise with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure project milestones are achieved.
• Optimize project cost and resources for maximum efficiency.

✅ Skills & Requirements:

• Strong experience in solar project execution, site supervision, and team handling.
• Knowledge of solar PV systems, structure installation, earthing, and cabling work.
• Familiar with AutoCAD drawings, MS Office, and project reporting tools.
• Good understanding of electrical safety and civil foundation works.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Willingness to travel to project sites across Tamil Nadu.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
