Solar Engineer

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Solar Site Engineer to join our project execution team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in installation, commissioning, and maintenance of solar power plants — both rooftop and ground-mounted systems.

This is a field-based role involving travel to project sites across Tamil Nadu. Candidates with strong technical knowledge and leadership skills in the solar EPC sector are highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise installation, commissioning, and testing of solar PV systems.
• Coordinate with contractors, technicians, and internal project teams.
• Ensure work quality, safety, and adherence to engineering standards.
• Interpret electrical and civil drawings for on-site execution.
• Monitor project progress, materials, and manpower.
• Troubleshoot technical issues during installation and commissioning.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Collaborate with design and procurement teams for smooth project flow.

✅ Skills & Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of solar modules, inverters, structures, and cabling.
• Experience in ground-mounted and rooftop solar project execution.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD drawings, electrical connections, and layouts.
• Excellent communication and site management skills.
• Willingness to travel to different solar project locations.
• Knowledge of MNRE / CEI / DISCOM standards preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
