Banking Project - so the leaves and working model will be as per the Bank (Client of ISG). Job Description: We are seeking an experienced technical candidate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development, experience with UNIX environments, and a deep understanding of PL SQL for database management. You will work on developing, enhancing, and deploying high-performance applications, with a strong focus on backend systems, stored procedures, and data integration. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain backend components using Java and Struts framework. Write, test, and optimize complex PL/SQL queries and stored procedures for efficient data retrieval. Create and manage database designs, including joins, relationships, and stored procedures. Collaborate with the front-end team to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. Perform application deployment in UNIX-based environments, ensuring smooth transitions between development, testing, and production. Work with databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, or similar) to ensure efficient data processing and reporting. Optimize database performance by implementing efficient SQL queries and indexing. Design, develop, and manage the complete lifecycle of software development, from concept to deployment. Troubleshoot and resolve software defects, and proactively implement fixes and enhancements. Maintain and update technical documentation for both new and existing systems. Skills & Qualifications: Strong expertise in Java and related frameworks (Struts, Spring). Deep understanding of database systems, with expertise in PL/SQL, including stored procedures and complex SQL joins. Experience with UNIX-based systems (Linux/Unix Shell scripting, file management, and process management). Knowledge of software deployment practices in UNIX environments (including version control, CI/CD pipelines). Experience working with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript). Solid understanding of application lifecycle management (development, testing, deployment, maintenance). Familiarity with version control tools such as Git. Ability to debug and optimize code for performance and scalability. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
