Role Overview: As a Software Testing professional with 4-9 years of experience, you will be responsible for conducting manual testing and automation testing using Python, Pytest, BDD framework, and other relevant tools. You will work in a collaborative environment to optimize test suits, identify performance issues, and improve the overall quality of the product. Your strong communication skills will be essential in creating test plans, executing test cases, and collaborating with the development team to ensure defects are resolved efficiently. Key Responsibilities: - Work on manual and Python-based automation testing, focusing on optimizing test suits and identifying performance issues. - Utilize BDD framework and experience with tools like Serenity, Cucumber Playwright, and Puppeteer. - Prioritize and execute test cases for manual testing and automation based on functional and non-functional requirements. - Collaborate with developers to understand technical architecture and review requirements with the business to assess impacts on existing product functionality. - Conduct performance testing using tools like jMeter/K6 and API testing using Postman. - Work on testing client-facing SaaS products and parallelizing tests to enhance performance. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's Degree with 7-9 years of experience in manual and Python-based automation testing. - Proficiency in Python, Pytest, BDD, and manual testing techniques. - Experience working with BDD frameworks like Behave and familiarity with tools such as Serenity, Cucumber Playwright, and Puppeteer. - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. - Ability to create test plans, execute test cases, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with development teams effectively.
