Software Tester

JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities:

 Design, develop, and execute test cases, test scripts, and test plans.

 Conduct manual and automated testing to ensure the quality of software applications.

 Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools.

 Collaborate with developers and business analysts to understand requirements and resolve defects.

 Perform regression, functional, system, performance, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

 Validate fixes and perform re-testing of resolved issues.

 Ensure compliance with quality assurance standards and best practices.

 Generate detailed test reports and provide feedback for improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

 Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

 Proven experience as a Software Tester/QA Engineer.

 Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, TestRail).

 Experience with manual and automated testing techniques.

 Familiarity with programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, or JavaScript) is a plus.

 Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.

 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

 Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

 Experience with API testing and performance testing tools (e.g., Postman, JMeter).

 Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
