Job Description

As a Software Tester (Web), your role involves exposure to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC). You will need to have a systematic approach to planning and testing, along with creative skills for testing techniques. Your key responsibilities will include: - Writing test cases and test plans for the project - Executing test cases/scripts - Performing Regression testing, Functional testing, Unit testing, and System testing - Logging defects during the test execution phase - Investigating potential defects, discussing them with developers, and making reports - Reporting progress of software testing to the Project Manager - Ensuring testing standards are met and conducting reviews - Supporting the Operational teams To qualify for this role, you should have: - 3+ years of experience in Client-Server and Web-based application environments - Good knowledge of Testing Concepts - Basic knowledge of SQL - Strong conceptual and problem-solving skills - Analytical skills and effective problem-solving ability - Knowledge of Test Director or Quality Center is an added advantage - Fluency in the English language with excellent written and verbal communication skills - Knowledge of SQL is an added advantage This is a full-time position based in Ahmedabad, India.
