Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Software Tester with 2-3 years of experience to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in manual testing, performance testing, security testing, and a basic understanding of Selenium for automated testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manual Testing: Execute test cases for new and existing features across various platforms (web and mobile).
• Performance Testing: Conduct performance testing to ensure the software meets speed, scalability, and stability requirements.
• Security Testing: Identify potential security vulnerabilities in software applications and collaborate with the development team to address them.
• Test Documentation: Create and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and reports.
• Bug Tracking: Report defects and track them to resolution using bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
• Collaboration: Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product managers to understand requirements and ensure the quality of the software.
• Test Automation (Selenium): Assist in the development and execution of automated test scripts using Selenium (basic knowledge required).
• Regression Testing: Perform regression testing after bug fixes and feature enhancements.

Required Skills:

• Manual Testing: Strong understanding of software testing life cycle (STLC) and testing methodologies.
• Performance Testing: Basic knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Security Testing: Understanding of common security vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top 10).
• Automation Testing: Basic knowledge of Selenium WebDriver and its role in automating test cases.
• Bug Tracking: Familiarity with bug-tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to identify and document defects with precision.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Rajarhat, Kolkata, West Bengal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
