Job Description

Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Software/Application Tester to ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of our applications before release. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of testing methodologies, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues. Key Responsibilities Review and analyze system specifications, user stories, and requirements. Design, develop, and execute manual and/or automated test cases. Perform functional, regression, integration, UI/UX, performance, and acceptance testing. Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA leads to resolve defects. Prepare detailed test reports, summaries, and documentation. Ensure that applications meet quality standards and business requirements. Participate in test planning, estimation, and continuous improvement of QA processes. Validate fixes and perform re-testing as needed. Contribute to test automation frameworks (if applicable). Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). Experience in software testing, QA processes, and SDLC/Agile methodologies. Strong knowledge of test design techniques and QA tools. Familiarity with SQL for data validation. Experience with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium) is a plus. Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and documentation skills. Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have)Experience testing web, mobile, and/or API-based applications. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI). Knowledge of programming/scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript). ISTQB or similar QA certification.
