Job Description – Software Testing Intern (6 Months Internship)

Location: On-Site, Mira Road, Mumbai
Internship Duration: 6 Months

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Software Testing Intern . This internship will provide hands-on experience in manual testing, test documentation, defect reporting, and working closely with developers to improve product quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute manual test cases based on requirements
• Identify, log, and track defects/bugs
• Assist in preparing test cases, test scenarios & test reports
• Perform functional, regression, UI, and compatibility testing
• Collaborate with the development team to resolve issues
• Support the QA team in daily testing activities
• Learn and follow QA processes, methodologies, and tools

Required Skills

• Basic understanding of SDLC and STLC
• Knowledge of manual testing concepts
• Familiarity with bug-tracking tools (JIRA, Trello, or similar) – added advantage
• Good analytical & problem-solving skills
• Ability to understand requirements and create basic test cases
• Strong communication and attention to detail

Eligibility

• Final-year students or fresh graduates (B.Tech/B.E./BSc IT/MCA/etc.)
• Basic knowledge of software testing
• Available for 6 months full-time on-site internship at Mira Road
