Software Test Engineer-Manual || FNP

Job Description

Document test phases, defects, and resolutions using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla , or similar. Provide regular quality metrics, defect reports, and actionable insights . Conduct thorough post-release testing to ensure stability and a smooth customer experience. 1. Test Design & Execution: Translate business and technical requirements into effective test strategies and test cases. Design, maintain, and execute functional, regression, and smoke test cases . Conduct web and mobile application testing (manual and automation), with a strong focus on user experience. Validate e-commerce workflows including product search, cart, checkout, and payment gateway integrations. 2. API & Database Testing: Perform API testing (REST/SOAP) for services like inventory management, order processing, and payment integrations. Write and execute SQL queries for backend validation (MySQL/PostgreSQL). 3. Collaboration & Leadership: Work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand and test key features. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior QA engineers. Contribute to QA strategy and process improvements , especially in a fast-paced e-commerce environment. 4. Good understanding of testing types Functional, Regression, Integration, Smoke, Sanity, UAT.
