Software Test Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities 

• Hands-on experience in web, native & hybrid mobile application testing for iOS & Android
• Analyzing requirements and understanding business requirements.
• Creation and execution of comprehensive test cases.
• Identifying Test Scenarios, edge cases and suggesting improvements.
• Conduct Manual Testing on various Mobile devices (iOS & Android)
• Document test results and log defects in JIRA and report the progress to the team.
• Root Cause analysis on issues and nail down the reason for the issue.
• Maintaining working harmony. Specific Knowledge (Skill / Languages etc.)
• Good exposure to manual testing concepts (specific to mobile application testing)
• Experience in testing native & hybrid mobile applications on smartphones such as iOS & Android.
• Expert level understanding of software testing types, techniques, tools, processes, and methodologies.

Skills

• Any Bachelor Degree
• Minimum 1 Year experience in Web, App testing 
• Excellent verbal/listening and written communication skills
• Good experience in using Bug Tracking systems like JIRA and test management tools like TestRail
• Understanding of the Project Life Cycle and Test Life Cycle.
