Role Overview

As a Software Test Engineer at Cirakas Consulting, you will ensure the quality and robustness of our AI-driven applications across web, mobile, and API platforms.

You’ll collaborate closely with developers, designers, product managers, and data scientists to plan, design, and execute test strategies that guarantee smooth, intelligent, and reliable user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, document, and execute manual and automated test cases for web, mobile, and backend systems.
• Build and maintain automated test scripts using modern frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium, and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
• Conduct API testing using Postman or REST Assured, verifying accuracy, performance, and integration between services.
• Validate AI-driven features-ensuring model outputs are consistent, explainable, and relevant to real-world use cases.
• Perform functional, regression, performance, and security testing before major releases.
• Identify, isolate, and report defects clearly, collaborating with developers for quick resolution.
• Contribute to the evolution of testing frameworks, QA documentation, and process improvements.
• Support continuous delivery by maintaining automated test coverage in an Agile workflow.

Required Skills & Experience

• 2–3 years of hands-on experience as a Software Test Engineer or QA Engineer in a product development or startup setting.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Experience with at least one test automation framework (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or equivalent).
• Solid experience in API testing and working with JSON/XML payloads.
• Familiarity with AI/ML products, datasets, and basic model validation concepts.
• Proficiency with version control (Git) and issue tracking tools (Jira, ClickUp, or similar).
• Basic scripting skills in Python, JavaScript, or Java for automation or data validation.
• Exposure to CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

• Experience testing AI/ML pipelines or data-intensive products.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, k6) or security testing fundamentals.
• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes environments.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
